FOUNDER

RODRIGO GUTIERREZ

Corialent

12 years ago, Rodrigo decided that the Coca Colas of the world shouldn’t be the only ones who get to have all the fun in the advertising industry. He was sick of all the dull, corporate, navy blue and white B2B work out there. Business people are people too. Corialent specializes in B2B marketing that doesn’t suck. And they want to get the rest of the industry drinking that delicious KoolAid.

Receptionist Training

Receptionist Training:

Receptionist Training is one of the most popular professions in the hospitality industry and is constantly evolving and growing. As a Receptionist for any length of time can attest, there is always a need for additional training and education. Today, Receptionists are integral aspects to the success of any professional Receptionist business. They are the face of the business, the first point of contact for guests and customers, and can make or break a Receptionist's reputation. In order to ensure you are providing your guests with a positive Receptionist Experience, it is important to get the best Receptionist Skills Training possible.

Types of Receptionist Training There are currently three forms of receptionist training: self-study, on-the-job training and professional certification. All three provide the same information, and all should be completed prior to being employed. The type of Receptionist Training that you choose should reflect your personal needs, interests and abilities. Some courses may have additional benefits such as: employee assistance programs, career development, and business communication classes. If you need additional assistance with the Receptionist Job Process, contact your Human Resources Department for further assistance.

Coursework for Receptionist Training Many Receptionist Jobs require the completion of an approved Receptionist Skills Certificate or an Enunciate Test. These certifications are offered through many post-secondary institutions including: Career Education & Training, Inc. (CET), Online College of Receptionist (OCR), American Culinary Federation (ACF), American Dental Association (ADA) and the National Certification Board for Receptionists (NCRT). Each of these organizations offers different levels of Receptionist Training, so it is important to review their requirements before beginning any courses. It is important to note that all of these organizations encourage their members to learn and practice their skills in a practical and controlled environment. For example, an Acrobatics instructor will not be expected to perform the same task at each of his/her classes.

After completing an approved Receptionist Training program, a candidate can be eligible for immediate employment or a full-time position. In order to qualify for employment, a candidate must be able to perform all essential skills set forth in the job description. For example, if a Receptionist is required to work in the waiting room, take customer information, and then make calls on behalf of the management team, they must be skilled in completing all three tasks.

There are many places that offer Receptionist Training courses. Some training programs are offered online, while others are classroom-based. Most Receptionist Training courses take approximately one year to complete, and candidates must pass a professional Receptionist course in order to be considered for acceptance into a reputable Receptionist Service Training program. The training received from a Receptionist course will consist of learning how to: take customer information, call in sick, schedule appointments, order supplies, answer phones, manage work schedules, handle emails, and much more.

Medical Office Receptionist jobs are highly desirable. With these jobs, Receptionists are typically expected to handle multiple calls an hour, and are often asked to perform specialized tasks such as answering medical phone calls. These professionals also receive extensive training in medical office protocol, office organization, and general office policy. In some medical offices, the Receptionist is also responsible for performing medical office operations such as stocking medicine cabinets, arranging table settings, and greeting patients.

When searching for Receptionist Training courses online, you want to make sure that the course you choose is taught by professionals who are fully certified and skilled in teaching Receptionist tasks. There are many excellent online Receptionist courses to choose from. Spend the time choosing a reputable course. By doing so, you will not only be confident that you can land the position once you complete the course, but you will have valuable knowledge and experience that you can apply to your career.

There are many medical offices in which Receptionist duties are performed. Some examples of offices where Receptionist duties are common include doctor's offices, hospitals, long-term care facilities, nursing homes, mental health clinics, and more. In each of these situations, the goal is the same - to provide professional, courteous, and useful service to patients in a timely fashion. By taking Receptionist training courses online, you will gain valuable skills in not only basic Reception skills, but also in patient interaction techniques that will prove valuable in all areas of your career. As a result, you will find that once you complete your online Receptionist training courses, your skills will be in high demand. You will be able to fulfill all of your Receptionist needs in a way that demonstrates your professionalism while allowing your office to run smoothly.
